Sick and whiny
Just as I was going to bed last night, I started getting a stabbity pain in my stomach. I took a bunch of antacids and went to bed. However, it has not abated and kept me up most of the night, so I am home sick, bitterly using vacation time as sick time. *pout*

Edit: 2PM - OK, one bit of happiness... kumakun  just brought in the mail, including a new back-up copy of The Work of Angels, a used but good copy of the V&A Museum book Embroidery in Britain from 1200 to 1750, and my overseas package for a special project... I'm gonna go back to bed and cuddle my books.

Apparently, you have the ick that kept Zig from going to the event. He's better now, so hopefully you will only be out for a day...

I'm just glad to have dodged this particular round of the urp.... I think I still have "immunity" from my bout in Paris.

I'd wondered where His Zigtasticality was, but didn't get a chance to ask! Hope he feels better!

Sorry you're not feeling well. On the other hand, your icon looks delicious! (That *is* chocolate, isn't it?)

Yech, stabbity pains. I sympathize. Hope they let up soon! In the meantime those books will go straight into your brain, slurp slurp slurp!

And...I think you know for your safety I should make sure that "Embroidery in Britain from 1200 to 1750" is fit for human consumption. Just to make sure. It is a sacrifice I am willing to make.

Yes, one can never be too careful about such things...
