Thing-a-Day - 6/28 - Event bags
Event bags

Phase two of the re-organizing - some more bags to organize my packing.

The blue bag is for the garb basics other than a tunic that make me not naked  (shoes, pouch, belt, hat, socks, jewelry), the brown bag is for my basic feast gear (plate, bowl, cup, knife, spoon, Scotch, bottle opener, napkin), and the white bag is for the miscellaneous fiber items that are often useful (veil, coif, linen hide-the-ugly throw).

The embroidered bag is one I made awhile ago and finished tonight, adding a closure and a handle.

Plain bags: linen fabric, silk or linen thread, handsewn.
Drawstrings: Whipcorded linen

Embroidered bag: wool with linen embroidery, silk thread construction, handmade bead closure, whipcorded handle

I'd suggest the black one for body parts.

The black one is for my sewing kit... and small body parts. ;)

These look fantastic. My only problem, when I assemble everything in bags, is that I either need a tote box or a large bag with handles to put all the bags IN! I love over-the-shoulder straps. :)

They are actually to be put in a bigger bag... that will be a thing later in the month, I hope.
