From the people at fabrics-store.com:

Doctors Zimniewska and Kozlowski explain this in the following excerpt from their clinical study entitled, Influence of Fabrics Construction, Lignin Content and other Factors on UV Blocking:

"...there is a need for efficient protection against harmful UV radiation. And this should be an aim of the textile designer's activities to produce apparels with a high Sun Protection Factor (SPF). This can be achieved with apparel from bast fibers, such as linen and hemp, which also provide excellent comfort due to their high hygroscopicity, air permeability and other factors. The natural fibers, such as hemp and flax, contain in their chemical structure the natural pigment known as lignin, which is a natural UV absorber and ensures good sun protection. A study on the application of lignin, as UV blockers for fabrics, was conducted at the INF. The research has shown that changes in the level of lignin can cause large changes in the UV protection properties of linen fabrics."

...more here and here on the benefits of linen. Some of the science seems a little sketchy, maybe it's the translation, but we're just looking for thinly veiled excuses, anyway...

Speaking of thinly veiled excuses to buy linen - Jara folk - I have some red linen I picked up at war - $3/yard, first come first served at practice!

So... all y'all who ordered linen, I have a surprise for you! There was a little comment on the order sheet when it arrived and I followed up with the distributor to see what "70-30 handmade" meant. It means that this batch is 70/30 linen/cotton that was handwoven! (On a modern loom, true enough, but hey, handwoven)!

I immediately ordered another bolt each of black and white, figuring I'll never again get that sort of deal on handwoven linen, even if there is a cotton contaminant! (They are getting back to me on whether/which colors are still available.) So I should have some black and white in stock next week and probably some ivory, navy, post blue if I don't sell it all in South Dakota. The colors will be first come first served at Jara practice on Wednesday, comment or email me to get in on the incoming black and white, still just $5/yard.

Yay! The linen is finally in! (I found out that they were closed for the Holy Days and then had some backlog when they got back.) Tomorrow at the Stock Pavilion, I'll be pressing the apprenti and any other willing helpers into service to cut it up into parcels. I'll know early next week how much I have still available for those of you who did not place a pre-order. Folks can pick up their portion at the Stock Pavilion or in Border Downs this weekend.

Um... yeah... I'll be in Border Downs this weekend. (...so much for taking a few weekends off, eh?) [info]zarhooie  set the perfect Eithni trap: a Norse-poetry-and-playing-with-string weekend. *grin* So I'll be at [info]zarhooie 's dorm on Friday night to do some costuming research and/or patterning with people who want some hands-on assistance or want to play with my reference books. I'm planning on bringing the relevant parts of the library and giving the Western folks the first dibs on the leftover linen, so I'm hoping we'll have a good turnout. Then, on Saturday, I'll be at the Project Day to teach whipcording, talk about other fiber-y goodness, listen to the poetry classes, help with the projects we started on Friday, and maybe work on some C&I. It's a long way to go for a local event, but I think it will be a good time...

And, hey! I may be able to stop at the Spam Museum on the way home!  ;)

If there is any linen available after the weekend, I'll post it early next week when it will be first come, first served.

Once again, I have Linen-Cotton in Colors! It is 54inch wide, I'd guess 4 ounces, price should be about $5/yard, Please order in 5 yard lengths!

The colors available this time:

Big piece:
Ivory
Top Row:
Dark Brown
White
Postman Blue (I'd call it Periwinkle)
Khaki #1
Rust
Light Blue
Khaki #2 (slightly different)

Bottom Row:
Camel
Black
Navy
Mud
Olive

I do need minimum orders on all of these, probably about 50 yards of each color, but I'll let you know if your selections include colors that are canceled due to low orders.

I likely won't have it in time for Rose Tourney, though, and I doubt I can get it all on the train to Minot, so Clothiers Seminar may be the first opportunity for those of you to the West. Of course, I'll be at Jara practices in the mean time.

Please send me orders no later than Sunday morning - I'll be putting int he order first thing on Monday!

Please send me orders by midnight on Wednesday - I'll be putting the order in first thing on Thursday!

Patterns of Fashion 4: The cut and construction of linen shirts, smocks, neckwear, headwear and accessories for men and women c. 1540 - 1660: 4

I'll be placing an order in the next few days. Let me know if you want in to save on shipping... It is usually 30 pounds but it is on sale at amazon.co.uk for 15 pounds - even after shipping, that is the cheapest I have found. I think it will be about $35 after tax, shipping, et al and we should have them by Boar's Head.

Nom nom nom... Tasty linen...

In news of my aunt, from my mom via email this morning:

"The surgeon proclaimed E's surgery as "miraculous"! It went just as planned.
Now there is renewed hope that she may be able to recover to some point. I'm so relieved. I'll keep you informed. Thanks for your help & thoughts."

Thank you for all those who offered their thoughts and prayers. I'm not a particularly religious girl, but I do believe in the power of such things.

On the Jara list, someone asked for assistance sewing a "standard" rapier kit. You know, just a linen shirt and doublet. *grin* Huzzah for the defeat of Evil Trigger! The One True Way of Linen will soon take over the world!

********************************

I got an email from some ladies in Glenn Abhann who are looking to put together a Garb Wars/Golden Seamstress/Griffin's Needle Challenge sort of event and found my webpage/blog. Of course I was more than willing to share the crack and send them the info I had.

They don't have a date yet, but assuming it doesn't conflict badly with something else, anyone interested in a road trip? :)

Yesterday, at  lunch, I was thinking about life and stuff and suddenly had the undeniable urge to reread Walden. Thanks to my iPhone and Project Gutenberg, 45 seconds later I was.

I <3 my phone. I <3 teh intarwebz.

********************************

This morning I got an email on the NS Hall about an A&S Throw Down to be held March 28, 2009 in the Shire of Trewint at their Ides of March Event. The idea is you pony up $10 and enter your very bestest A&S project in a participant-judged winner-take-all competition. While I appreciate the squishiness of less intimidating A&S formats, I do believe in recognizing and rewarding excellence. (I may also be a bit on the competitive side.) I suspect this will draw some really amazing pieces by some of Northshield's best artisans (because some of them are pretty competitive too) and be an A&S display to remember.

Trewint's a good hike from Jara. I think I may go anyway.

And last, but by no means least, I am FINALLY getting some help at work! Starting September 8th, I will have a pharmacy minion to do my bidd... er... coworker to work with. One of the best parts is that she is interested in having Mondays off and so will work Tuesday through Friday and I can change my schedule to Monday through Thursday. This means no more staying up to obscene hours on Wednesday night at social, but it DOES mean a three day weekend pretty much every week. YAY! Even better, it means that something other than the bare essentials will be getting done at work. I have been keeping up with the patient profiles, the formulary development, the drug information questions, the prior authorizations, the mandatory federal reporting and the six dozen other necessary functions, but I have been coming home absolutely wrecked and still have not even been able to work on the special projects that would help address the financial, legal, and safety aspects of drug use that really are becoming somewhat urgent. (Shockingly, I've just not been able to keep up with ALL the aspects of FOUR peoples' jobs.) But soon, I will have help again and hopefully life will get a little less insane and my non-work motivation levels will start to rebound.

You've all been warned. ;)

Just a short post before I hit the road...

For those of you coming to WW, please be sure to check out Wood 'n' Woven, a merchant who will be on site. She does amazing handwoven woolens, plus some cottons and the occasional linen. She runs $30/yard for yardage fabric, but she sells other items, like completed hoods and leg wraps. Do look even if you do not buy...

If you need some more linen in my absence, consider the sale at fabrics-store.com on 10 yard chunks of white linen, medium weight.

So... last weekend I ran away from home for a bit and found myself at S.R. Harris... They were still running the sale on linen... They had more linen in yummy colors - primarily red, natural, and blue... So I have more linen for sale! :)

Most of it is 45" wide, it is all 100% linen and $4.50 a yard. I'll have the new stock at the Stock Pavilion this week Wednesday, first come first served, and will post if there is any remaining later in the week. My evil plot to have the most beautiful Barony in the Knowne World has been disclosed by [info]devikat, so there's no reason to hide it any further. ;)  Bwhahahaha!

The natural, by the way, is probably the yummiest I have had for sale... just saying.

The latest linen order came in today. However, with Border Skirmish canceled for the weekend and my being away at Lilies next Wednesday-Sunday, my planned and usual distribution locations won't work.

Jara folk: If you would like to get your hands on your share of the linen before Wednesday, June 25th, give me a call and arrange a pick up time between now and Monday night (please no calls before 11AM).

CAM folk: Barring further weather disasters, I will be in Milwaukee on Sunday evening for a family function. Is there someone along Interstate 94/Highway 43 North to Port Washington who would be available sometime Sunday afternoon/night, willing to meet me somewhere close to the highway, and interested in being my delivery proxy? I'd just be asking you to get the fabric to people and ask them to send me checks directly, so there would be no money-handling yuck...

Other folk: I'll be at Lilies and then probably no events until WW. I would like to avoid dealing with deliveries at WW (a little busy at that event, don'tchaknow) if possible, so see if you can arrange for an intermediary to pick it up on a Wednesday at the Jara practice or at Lilies.

The linen is $4.50/yard, including tax, shipping, and handling (sorry, gas prices are up, and the shipping costs reflected that). I did order a bit extra of each color when I could, so if you did not get your order in, there may be hope yet! Both White and Cobalt are completely sold, however.

So, last Pennsic I developed a weird infection/rash/skin eating disease. The medical professionals and I tried antibiotics (oral and topical), antibiotic combinations, antifungals, and topical chemical debrieders. It seemed not to care and eventually just ran its course before we ever figured out what it was. (My body seems keen on developing undiagnosable things these days...) Well, I got a little - like dime sized - scrape last week from gods know what - it was minor enough I didn't even notice at the time. But... the evil creeping skin eating disease is back. Went to the MD again, they still have no idea - their current theory is contact dermatitis. (From a scrape? I'm allergic to mechanical damage? WTF? And no, I'm not allergic to sulfa antibiotics and this started before I put goo on it, so it's not likely to be the Neosporin or the band-aids...)

I've decided its leprosy.

******************************************************************

In linen news, I have ordered ALL of the white and cobalt and am essentially sold out of those colors. They MAY have more than the 100 yards of each they advertised, but I won't know until it arrives. You can order it, but from here on out, I do not promise to actually get it in. Royal, red, "black" and rust are all still available. Plus there is still the SR Harris stash - mostly black or oatmeal.

******************************************************************

Despite the best intentions, I got nothing, NOTHING done tonight. Work was a disaster today, even though I was on call yesterday and handled the urgent things remotely. After work, I had to run errands, go see the MD and go to Woodman's before finally getting home to theoretically get stuff done... But first I was hungry (Mmmm... nachos and mojitos!), then I was squiffy (see mojitos), then I had a little accidental nap (probably also see mojitos + work exhaustion), and now I'm running a fever and really think I'm just headed back to bed - I need to get up early tomorrow for the Med Drop and then sewing with [info]goldfrog and company. Maybe I'll get to stuff on Sunday. *sigh*

When it rains, it pours! I just got samples of cotton-linen blends, 60 inches wide, in COLORS, that I can offer for about $4-4.50/yard (depending on the size of the final order).

Now, here's the deal - I need to reach a minimum number of yards of a color or I cannot order it - this is from a warehouser who does *not* deal with 5 yard chunks! So, I am requesting that orders be in 5 yard increments and for the following colors:

#3 - White
#5 - Royal
#6 - Red
#8 - "Black" (Black cross-woven with cream)
#9 - Cobalt
#10 - Rust

If you absolutely MUST have one of the other colors (pink, lime, rose, blue (really more of a grey), or jade (I'd call it teal) contact me privately and I'll see what I can do.

Also, I would like to put the order in first thing Monday morning, so please have your order to me no later than Sunday at noon. Hopefully, I'll have it in by practice Wednesday, but Border Skirmish or practice the following week is more likely.

Happy shopping!

01 June 2008 @ 11:57 pm
I went up to t he TOC this weekend and actually had a splendid time. I think a lot of that had to do with going to an event where my most serious responsibility was to sneak off site midday with Her Highness to go fabric shopping.

The fighting was wonderful to watch and the site beautiful. The park itself was pretty enough, but the local group, the Village of Blachemere, had constructed a beautiful viewing stand and ringed the list field with fluttering banners in Kingdom colors. it made for a very pretty picture, but of course I once again did not manage to take a single photo on site. :P I don't know why I bother bringing the fool thing anymore... In any event, there were a large number of Knights in attendance, and Jara had a good showing of both Knights and Squires. The smaller scenarios were fun to watch, but it always the melees that I find most fun. The only blot on the day were the swarms of evil mosquitoes that descended upon us. The hot, smelly fighters attracted many of them, but the tasty buffet of smelly boy also brought enough of the little bastards that they chomped on the less fragrant spectators as well. If I go to this site again, I'll need to remember to bring some bug spray...

But, on to the important bits! ;) SR Harris had a sale on linen for $4/yard all through the month of May. Saturday was the last day of the sale and after thinking about it for a bit, I sorted through the linens and pulled out everything that was 100% linen in an acceptable color... and bought it all. *grin* I was feeling a little guilty about it, but then decided that the 'Skogenites had had all month to get some and that's really about as good a price as I've been able to find even by bulk mail order from out East. Therefore, I am dealing again - approximately 200 yards in miscellaneous weights and colors (but mostly black or natural), $4.25/yard (to cover fabric, tax, and gas ;P), to be for sale - first come first serve - starting Wednesday once the apprenti have had a look-see and collected their orders. I did sell some at General Meeting and [info]arebekah snapped a shot of me in action, dealing out of my trunk...

However, I also have some bad news - the heavy linen canvas order has had some problems. First, this second batch had molding as well as water staining, making some of the spots fragile. This is still OK for the folks looking for pattern fabric or smaller projects, but a problem for people with allergies or needing large panels. A further complication was that my supplier was mistaken - there was only a total of 400 yards in the lot, so I am oversold by about 150 yards. Some people have already inspected the fabric - most have taken the lot they ordered, a few have turned it down as no longer meeting their needs, so I am probably only about 100 yards oversold... but I only have 50 yards left. Therefore, I am also going to have the lots at the SP on Wednesday and Border Skirmish - if you ordered from me, come see me ASAP with cash in hand or it may already have been claimed! :P

I don't care what the calendar said, today was a Monday. :P But still a Monday after a three day weekend - the pile-up at work was crazy.

My stoopid body hurts a stoopid amount. :( I did a fair bit of work with [info]bookotgrove yesterday, but jeeze. Owieowieowie. So not fair. *pout*

So... I need to have 30 continuing education credits done by the end of the month. I thought I had 18 or so... but I can only find the completion certificate for one seminar for 6 CEs. Tonight, I chugged out the other 24 necessary credits, thanks to study-a-home and online courses. Blearg. Brain jello.

At least I had the Auction on in the background to keep me company. Joy! I'll be pasted to the set Thursday night - Home and Garden Night -  but sadly will be out of town for Entertainment and Hobbies (Friday) and Marketplace (Sunday). Tragedy! (But probably for the best, since the weekend will already tax my pocketbook with a trip to SR Harris and IKEA. Yum.)

Roommate's music is making me crazy, especially in my borderline functioning whiny-ass state, so I'm off to bed... sweet dreams of linen soon to fill my head... ;)

The linen/cotton canvas I have been most recently hawking is in. I'll be looking for help to cut it up tomorrow night (I have 400 yards on 3 rolls - ooof!) but by mid-way through practice, I should have the remainder for sale. Orders may be picked up at TOC or Border Skirmish, but please let me know where you plan on picking it up so I travel with enough. :)

If you did not get in on the original orgy of orders, I have about 100 yards left. It is a batch of SECONDS linen/cotton canvas (60%/40%), oatmeal/natural color, 8oz-ish, 50-55 inches wide. See the previous post for more details. I am ONLY selling it in 10 yard lengths for $10 each.

I have just ordered and will soon have for sale Linen/Cotton canvas (60%/40%). Please note that this is a SECONDS batch of fabric and has water stains of varying severities. On the other hand, it is a nice oatmeal/natural color, about 8oz thick or so, and about 50 inches wide. It is pretty stiff straight off the bolt, but softens up nicely and much of the water staining comes out in the wash. It also bleaches to an almost-white pretty easily and should take a dye nicely. Perfect for light armor or gambesons, stiffening internal layers for late period garb, or as heavy-weight linen gowns.

I am ONLY selling it in 10 yard lengths for $10 each.  Yup - $1 a yard.

Delivery at Jara's Stock Pavilion practice or by arrangement (NOT including WW!). I'll have about 350 yards... but prolly not for long - the 150 yards I had in the first shipment sold out before the end of practice last night! Ready... set... order!

This came out looking kinda blue, but gives an idea of the mottled color of the fabric

While I enjoy being the Mistress of Linen, the demand has been high and it sometimes has been difficult to get it all to events (because of volume) or get it all delivered/paid for (because we are all social people) or get it to corners of the kingdom I do not regularly visit (because this is a wide kingdom :P). Therefore, I am posting here my most reliable source for linen in whites and colors. I still will be offering the extra-good deals when I can get them from the warehouse out east and brokering group orders, but this is a good solution for those of you who want a particular color or want the linen NOW. (I completely understand. ;P)

Fabrics-Store.com

They have many different weights and colors of linen, but the price of individual orders will be a bit higher since I've been putting in orders that qualified for bulk discounts and the shipping is less per yard when spread over a greater quantity. For example, I had been offering the 5.3 ounce linen at $6.50/yard, shipping included. If you only wanted one yard of a color, it would be $6.65 plus $5.85 in shipping, for a total of $12.50/yard - still better than JoAnn's without a coupon, but not great. If you order a large quantity, like a 20 yard roll of a color, on sale for $120, it comes out to about $6.80 per yard including shipping. Economies of scale and all that. If you are interested in only a small amount and still would like to get in on one one my (disturbingly regular) personal orders so as to reduce the overall cost, please feel free to still talk to me about it.

Now, go forth and sew in the Light of the Linen-y Truth!

10 April 2008 @ 04:54 am

Please bear with me, this is a longish post... It has been a busy and difficult week with no posts, so now I have a bucket of little tidbits saved up that have been simmering for a few days - some brain stew, if you will. I likely will have one or two significant posts on specific topics in the coming days, but to get the little stuff out:

Linen
The first batch of linen came in. The good news? It will be $4/yard. The bad news? It is significantly lighter weight than the previous batches from this seller. I have some linen from other sources just arrived or enroute (from [info]jtdiii and other dealers) so I should be able to fill all the orders for light-medium weight black linen, but I now have some excess 55" wide black handkerchief weight (~3.5 oz) linen for sale. I have about 60 yards, $4 a yard while it lasts - comment or email.  The gold linen is also in and cut, so orders for white, black, gold, and brocade linens will all be available for pickup at Coronation.

Birdies
Tweet and Derelei have pretty obviously decided to be a bonded pair and she has been making nesting-type gestures for a bit now, so I bought her a nesting box. However, this as brought issues with Astrid to a head - the boys were willing to accept the box as Tweet's and only Tweet's. They quickly clued in that they should not mess with it beyond the occasional nibble on a corner. Astrid is naughtier though. She was all interested in the box and, even after some pretty solid smack downs, insisted on messing with it. Nevermind that before this time she showed no interest in nesting and, even if she were interested, her potential partner options are... erm... poor. I lurves the boys, but they are somewhat lovably defective. I'm not even sure that they are clear that she's a girl. I eventually had to separate them so poor Astrid is spending some time in "birdie jail" - a smaller cage I keep for such eventualities. I'll give them a few days to cool down and then see if giving Astrid a box too will solve the problem. Keep your fingers crossed for me...

Work
Gods, work is eating my brainz. It is public enough now I can explain. Care Wisconsin is part of the Wisconsin Partnership Program (WPP) that serves at-risk populations of special needs patients. Care Wisconsin's population is almost 700 frail elderly patients. One of our sister WPP organizations, Community Living Alliance (CLA), serves Developmentally Disabled (DD) and Physically Disabled (PD)  populations. For a variety of reasons, they will be transferring all their Partnership patients to us as of May 1. That is nearly 400 extremely complicated patients suddenly joining our plan all at once, for a total census of 1,100 patients for whom I am responsible. Yoiks. This also means that since the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services won't let the get rolled into our existing formulary, I have to maintain and report on two separate programs through the end of the year (read: gigantic headache). Plus, the Nurse Practitioners at CLA are not used to our model of practice, so there will be a huge amount of adjustment and hand-holding in the coming months as the new staff and patients are integrated. I will have some pharmacy help for the month of May and we are looking to hire someone ASAP, but with the pharmacist market being what it is, I'm not very hopeful. We have a great work environment, great benefits, and we are doing good work. However, it is hard work and the compensation is below average, even for Madison, so it is hard to attract people away from the "big guys" like the UW and Walgreens. Throw in the added fun of developing the 2009 formulary and my days are packed and often long.

Sewing
I am so inspired by the books I have been reading, the files I have been obtaining from museums, and the lectures I went to in Milwaukee. Now I just need 20 yards of a scrumptious white and gold brocade, 100 yards of matching narrow trim, 40 yards of matching wide trim, 15 yards of a scrumptious velvet, 50 yards of compatible trim, 500 pearls, 1000 free hours to work on it and a budget of $4000 to appropriately accessorize. :P The late period stuff is so pretty, but SO expensive. (Note to all y'all beginning sewers - more expensive to do it right, not actually and harder, however.) At least I have a giant stash of pearls... Anyway, [info]dread_ex, [info]ladyroisin, [info]relativelylucid, [info]casslee, [info]corvusjoyous and likely others will hopefully benefit from my recent studies as they have clarified how to correct some issues I've seen in dresses and how to go about correctly drafting others... Now just to find at least some of that time and motivation...

Library Woes
Some of you heard me complaining last week that I needed to return one of the books in my "permanent collection" - books hardly anyone else ever needs or uses and so live on my bookshelf where I can refer to them at my leisure, as I use them regularly. ([info]whymc refers to his as his "remote library storage facility" so I'm not the only one...) However, I have not been good about checking my UW email this semester and, to my horror, I discovered last week that not only did some wretched little undergrad RECALL my book, but I was a miserable library patron and it was now overdue. Now this did not present a financial problem - the UW does not charge overdue fines - it DID however pose a problem for using ILL (Inter Library Loan) services, which were the reason I was logging in at all. Blast and Damn. So, I swiftly returned the book so I could have my ILL rights reinstated.

Tonight, I discovered that the wretched little undergrad who recalled the book was none other than
[info]jinglymushroom... who was recalling it for[info]ilaifire. ;P At least I know the boy is using good sources.

May Day/Jararvellir's 35th Anniversary

Jara's Anniversary event (May 3) is coming up quite rapidly. The theme this year is an educational symposium. While there are a fair number of classes already on the schedule, we could use more. Please contact me if you would be willing to teach! My "One Kingdom" track only has one opening left, but there are many throughout the day. Also, Jara folk in particular - get in your Baronial and AoA recommendations ASAP so I can start plotting to give people what they des... errr... to reward people appropriately. ;)

Quest
I am planning on attending Quest this year and just bought the airline ticket, so I am pretty firmly committed. (It falls in May when I will be having back-up at work, so by god I'm going...) Since I don't get out to that end of the Kingdom terribly often, I am thinking about offering a class or two. Last time I was out there (Crown Tourney, Fall 2007) I offered both Research and the Pictish Tunic classes. Both of those classes had only about a half dozen students each, so it probably would be OK to do either or both of them again, but I have many others in the repertoir, including Pictish history, Whipcording, 10 sewing tips in 5 minutes or less apiece, dyeing, misc sewing and embroidery techniques, autocratting, waterbearing,  rapier armor/garb, beginning illumination, surviving War, building a period/periodiod kit, etc. plus others that could be developed based on interests/needs. The dyeing and C&I ones would be harder to transport materials for and/or teach in uncertain outdoors conditions, but the rest are do-able. Any of you folks with more of a grasp on the interests and needs of the West end of the Kingdom want to chime in on what I should offer to teach (either from the list or as a wish-list?)? Conversely, anyone who has been to Quest, could you tell me what you most recommend about the event?

Yay! That's all for now! Watch tomorrow for either a report on inspirational research or a session on pharmaceutical education, depending on time and my whim. Maybe you'll be "lucky" and get both.

OK, since there has been enough of an outcry for certain items, I am (with all due trepidation :P) opening up the linen order to a few more items. These are for pick-up at Coronation, in 5 yard lengths, I cannot be certain that anything over 20 yards will be in one piece (i.e. some of them only come on 20 yard bolts).

Brocade $10-11/yard:
white linen brocade, 59" width, 6.5 oz, acanthus leaf type pattern

White Handkerchief Linen $7.50-8/yard:
57" wide, 3.5 oz

Black Linen $6.50-7.50/yard
59" width, 5.3 oz - a rich flat black

Gold Linen $6.50-7.50/yard
59" width, 5.3 oz - a deep gold - same color I had at the SP last week, a beautiful NS Gold

Some of these are on sale through Sunday, but I don't know if the sale continues through next week, so I'll be putting in an order on Sunday evening and orders received by 5PM Sunday will definitely get the lower end of the quoted price range. Later orders MAY be at the higher range. If I do not get a minimum order of each color/weight, I may need to cancel that part of the order...

If there is a color you are desperate for, contact me off line with appropriate bribes and I may be swayed by your sad plight. ;P
