What Your Cute Monster Says About You

You're the type of person who stands out in a crowd, even when you're trying to blend in.

You are honest in your character and appearance. You don't pretend to be someone else.

Your inner demon is sorrow. You tend to get depressed easily.

People think you're cute because you're rebellious. Your uniqueness is charming.

My favorite sweater (from high school!), black slacks, black socks, combat boots.

03. What games did you recently finish?
Solitaire.

04. What is your favorite scent?
Woodsmoke and outdoors stuck in my hair after camping.

05. What books are you reading at the moment?
Jebus. Um... A Series of Unfortunate Events - Book 2; The Anglo-Saxon Way of Death; Textile Production at 16-22 Coppergate; Textiles, cordage and raw fibre from 16-22 Coppergate; Why do I love these people?; Someplace to be Flying; Loud and Clear; and Walden. 06. What do you drink the most?

I used to.

08. Who was your first big crush?
Yikes. Brian Bobinski. Except on days he was being horrible, then his best friend Josh.

Librarian. I sort of dodged that, but I still enjoy book searches, reference questions, and cataloging books more than any normal person ought to.

It is more that I am comfortable with who I am. My body is just sort of there. If it is not misbehaving terribly, I could care less.

Giving.

18. What turns you on in your preferred gender(s)?

Sewing. Or, really, cleaning the sewing room so I can sew. :P

Eithni is my SCA name

I tag: whoever feels like it... these things tend to go around like a bad case of the flu and hit all my friends sooner or later anyway. :P

Your result for The Perception Personality Image Test...

NBPS - The Idealist

Nature, Background, Big Picture, and Shape

You perceive the world with particular attention to nature. You focus on the hidden treasures of life (the background) and how that fits into the larger picture. You are also particularly drawn towards the shapes around you. Because of the value you place on nature, you tend to find comfort in more subdued settings and find energy in solitude. You like to ponder ideas and imagine the many possibilities of your life without worrying about the details or specifics. You are in tune with all that is around you and understand your life as part of a larger whole. You prefer a structured environment within which to live and you like things to be predictable.

Your result for The Steampunk Style Test...

The Aristocrat

64% Elegant, 63% Technological, 53% Historical, 16% Adventurous and 6% Playful!

You are the Aristocrat, the embodiment of steampunk elegance and poise. For you, dressing steampunk is first and foremost about simply looking good, with accessories and details to follow. However, this does not mean that you ignore the demands of creating a “steampunk look.” Your outfits weave together a balance between technology and style, and between period accuracy and beautiful anachronism. While your fashion inspiration may come from anywhere across the Victorian social spectrum, you always find a way to make your outfit beautiful. You will probably be found in the clothes of the steam age elite simply because of the greater elegance available to them. Chances are you dress this way because you like it, and you would still dress in this manner even if steampunk was not a popular interest.

*****************************************************************************************

Your result for The hardcore SCA Test ...

King's Advisor

You scored 92% hardcore SCA!

You may just be older than dirt, or a raving lunatic. You are about as involved as you could possibly be in the SCA. When you are at events you probably look like you just stepped out of a book. You're blood runs in kingdom colors, you are probably a peer, and your living room probably looks a lot like your campsite. You should probably get some help for your addiction, or see if someone will write a book about you.

*****************************************************************************************

Your result for The Camelot Test ...

Lancelot

Lancelot

Honourable and passionate. You never back down from a challenge. Your friends are very important to you. You believe in justice and duty far above your own personal security and comfort.

Congratulations! This was the most challenging result to get. You are one of a kind.

*****************************************************************************************

Your result for Which Chess Piece are You Test? ...

The Knight's Blacksmith

Congrats! Only 10-12% of the population score this!

The Knight's Blacksmith

The Knight's Blacksmith is practical and matter-of-fact, with a natural inclination towards business or mechanics. They apply themselves when necessary but find application to theoretical constructs to be counterproductive if a bit repugnant. Why theorize when you can simply try? They work hard and efficiently and easily meet deadlines. They are also useful in pointing out falsehoods.

They are civic-minded and work to maintain the smooth operations of a running society. They defend the status quo and are generally strong believers in rules and procedures through tradition. They are outgoing and do not hesitate to communicate their opinions and expectations of others. They may end up focusing too much on the task at hand forgetting the costs of long term. They may also be a bit blunt with their criticism. However they ensure the completion of any project with their tenacity and sheer willpower. You should be pleased scoring as a 'Pawn' - it proves that you are a constructive and contributing member of society.

1) Touched the Rosetta Stone at the British Museum (while some nice little Japanese tourists distracted the guard).

2) Gotten a private tour of the National Museums of Scotland's off-site store where they let me photograph and touch all sorts of Pictish artifacts. *swoon*

3) Lived in the haunted tower of a Castle, the "Hogwarts" castle, nonetheless.

4) Stitched up a friend who sliced her leg open on a trip to the Boundary waters.

5) Been yelled at by a guard at Lenin's tomb for helping a little old lady down the stairs. :P

Sadly, most of the really interesting Moscow things are off-limits since [info]whymc was there. :P Luckily, I have had a lot of weird adventures on my own.

2. Go to Google Images and search for that word.

3. Reply to this post with one of the pictures on the first page of results (don't tell me the word).

4. Put this in your own journal so that I can do the same.

Oddly enough, I'd just been thinking along Shakespearean lines when I saw this meme start to go around. And while we're on the subject, I forgot to mention it at the time (a few weeks ago), but the Bard just celebrated his 444th birthday!

Your Score: Hamlet

You scored 56% = Tragic, 30% = Comic, 25% = Romantic, 29% = Historic

You are The Tragedy of Hamlet. Highly regarded as the best play ever written by anyone ever, Hamlet tells the story of Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark, and his desire to enact revenge on his Uncle for the murder of his father. When performed in its entirety, Hamlet is just under 4 hours long and contains many of the most recognizable phrases in the English language. But enough of that - let's get back to you. Your results tell us that you are no doubt of high intelligence and cultural grace. While sometimes a bit dark and moody, you still have the poise and respect of a royal noble. Your tragic flaw, however may be that you tend to over-analyze situations and think too much when you should act. You also may be a bit long-winded, but we like you anyway!

You are breakfasty, like a pile of pancakes on a Sunday morning that have just the right amount of syrup, so every bite is sweet perfection and not a soppy mess. You are a glass of orange juice that's cool, refreshing, and not overly pulpy. You are the time of day that's just right for turning the pages of a newspaper, flipping through channels, or clicking around online to get a sense of how the world changed during the night. You don't want to stumble sleepily through life, so you make a real effort to wake your brain up and get it thinking. You feel inspired to accomplish things (whether it's checking something off your to-do list or changing the world), but there's plenty of time for making things happen later in the day. First, pancakes.

For such a night owl, I was really expecting midnight. ;) I suppose since this is all about organization and lists, it does fit though...
