Your result for The Perception Personality Image Test...

NBPS - The Idealist

Nature, Background, Big Picture, and Shape

You perceive the world with particular attention to nature. You focus on the hidden treasures of life (the background) and how that fits into the larger picture. You are also particularly drawn towards the shapes around you. Because of the value you place on nature, you tend to find comfort in more subdued settings and find energy in solitude. You like to ponder ideas and imagine the many possibilities of your life without worrying about the details or specifics. You are in tune with all that is around you and understand your life as part of a larger whole. You prefer a structured environment within which to live and you like things to be predictable.

You and I tested similar: I only tested for Color over Shape... the Daydreamer. :)

We got the same score. Apparently we see eye to eye or something. :-)

I guess it's a good thing our "personality test" results are compatible, eh Foster Mom? ;) Like cayswann, I 'tested' as "the Daydreamer."

Thing is, when presented with images with striking sky events (cloud-forms, color, light) I will always focus on them. Heck, I did a photo-journal type thing over the course of a year where I was photographing the skies around here in every type of weather. I have some really striking pictures. I also use them for colour studies. Like the storm clouds that are purple, blue, green and tinged with yellow and orange. Or the sunrises on stormy days. I also have some pretty pictures of white fluffy clouds in a beautifully clear blue sky. The colour combos come in handy for designing tapestries (tapestry weaving) or embroidery (or *gasp* painting exercises*) projects.

Then there are the times when I would much rather focus on the details of things. *chuckle* I still remember years ago when I was in the Service, assigned to light duty because of my knees and working with the Psych squadron. They had me take the Myers-Briggs test - and were dumbfounded when I scored almost completely opposite from what they had me pegged for. It was hilarious. ;)

*My degree is a BFA - for Drawing and Painting... you'd never know it, unless you looked at some of my scrolls....
