And the Geek shall inherit the Earth...
NASA is holding a poll to name a new module on the space center. The two leading candidates? Serenity and Colbert.

Ahhh, geeky goodness.

Dear God. Will the man never stop? (Prediction: if things get bad enough, we may yet see an attempt to buy naming rights to "United States of Colbert" from a desperately insolvent US Government...)

And to think I voted for Serenity because a) it fit the other names (Harmony, Progress, etc.) and b) it seems fitting to have a reference to Whedonia in space, particularly that one.

Talk about conflicting allegiances!

What I find most humorous is why they even thought they needed a poll when one of the choices was Serenity. Of course the internet is going to vote for that. Teh internets are populated almost entirely by geeks!

And by DNA, of course, he means tongue-deposited-spit, thereby re-iterating Chelsey's Cupcake Theory of the Universe.

I'll totally vote him on the side!

If you lick it. It's yours.
Of course Serenity is kicking everything else.
How about Hal after everyone's favorite psychotic computer?
