However it is not a proper infomercial... you forgot the words "But wait, there's more!"

Doh! You're right! I don't know how I missed that one!

Fixed now. ;)

That is genius! May I order more than 1?
eithni: sofonisbaeithni on May 29th, 2009 03:51 pm (UTC)
Um... maybe.

These kits are intended to foster handsewing and so I ordered everything in bulk and a great deal of the materials are "donations" out of my stash. If I were going to see them "retail" I'd need to get about $25 each. Plus, I only made 40 of them (to start, at least).

So, if you are planning on reselling them - No.

If YOU are going to actually USE it and are just ordering some for friends who will also actually be personally USING them - probably, depending on the number you want.

I got them from Laci's out West. I don't have any spares right now, but based on the way these are going, I may be putting in an order soon. They are only $1.50 each - do you just want one, or more?

Dude. You are awesome. You are also a drug enabler. But I guess it's OK, since you've got the pharm degree and all that.

I must be doing it wrong. What's a lacing bodkin? And a stiletto in this context? And I've never used beezwax. How does that help?

Maybe I need one...
mightyjessemightyjesse on May 29th, 2009 02:32 pm (UTC)
I use the lacing bodkin to get the *whipcorded drawstring* into the newly assembled pouch. The beezwax helps make the linen thread more cohesive so that it slides through the fabric neatly and doesn't pull itself apart if it's spun from top rather than strick.

I totally want one (like _I_ need more sewing stuff)
I'll tell AElfie to get one for me :)
