Can I go back to War?
Ugh. What a day. Work crazies and brain weasels. The fun and games with Medicare are just... astounding. It's too exhausting to even try to explain the horrid issues. I tried restarting the day after work with a nap and a shower, but I'm still in a funk.

On the up side - I made a needle! It's an antler naalbinding needle.

Made a needle, made a needle, made a nee-eedle last night...

Of course, this means I'll find my original one tomorrow...

...last night I made a needle, made a needle la-ast night!

Doesn't having two needles make you rich?

:) I'm all about jumping right in with new knowledge! Not that it was hard/complicated, but I finally stopped procrastinating...

Wasn't it sitting on the counter in the bathroom this week? I thought I saw something like that w/your salsa recipe and other random counter bits?

Could be under your jean shorts. I moved those to the counter so the really ugly centipede wouldn't climb into them and surprise you. < .

That was the blank for this needle before carving/filing/sanding/polishing. The original needle us about three months lost. :p

Hrm... looking at this... what is it made out of? Bone? Wood? Because I *think* that with an itsy-bitsy drill bit, I could make one of these, and I'm curious now.

Antler, but bone would do as well. Heavy needles like this could be made of wood, but finer ones need a stronger material. The hole in this one is indeed originally made by a drill. :)
