Family weekend - Phase 1
Survived dad's wedding... I even found a good and appropriate gift - the groom wore a Harley-Davidson shirt, which will nicely match the picture frame I got them. I even snuck out half-way through the reception to have a print developed to put in it. Digital photography for the win! During the reception, I didn't interact much with my relatives who were more than two feet tall, but I spent a lot of time messing with Andrew, my nephew. He is now old enough to really enjoy "Godzilla Auntie" sorts of games - Rawr! Squish Baby! was particularly popular. :)~

Now on to the Grandparents' 60th anniversary brunch...

You are a brave, brave woman. But I already knew that.

Yesterday me/parents did the traditional several-families get-together meal after Rosh Hashanah services...I was feeling PMS-y and not looking forward to hanging out with a bunch of middle-aged people and a few of their children that I have nothing in common with. Fortunately two of the "children" (in their early 30's now) brought their just-under-two-year-olds. It's better than TV! Basically we all watched them and giggled for four hours. And my dad got roughhouse-with-small-boy time, which he always enjoys and which he never did get when he had two small girls!

Adorable toddlers who are not mine = WIN. Happy New Year!

Congrats! I was... well, not worried, per se. More concerned. I'm glad it went well and you're in one piece. Keep trucking- fun awaits you at the other end! :)
