Thing-a-Day 12

This is sort of a proto-Thing. I hate to crawl on the floor and cut stuff out, so tonight I bit the bullet and cut out three baby tunics, one baby under tunic, one baby chemise, one adult hat, and one baby hat. Each of the packets in the picture represent a project parcel, seven in all. That should keep me busy for a few days!

Two or three cutting mats taped together on the backside can cover a dining room or workroom table and allow you to cut the fabric without crawling around on the ground.

Even better you can use a rotary cutter instead of scissors.

Still Lovely fabrics.

Yeah, I have a cutting table (when it is not buried under projects) and a great living room table (ditto), but I was out at a hotel, so options were limited. Once I was on the floor, I thought I might as well do a bucnh - in for a penny, in for a pound!

OK that makes more sense, I had remembered your basement setup and thought you had the mats.
