I know it's frustrating to not get everything done on your list, but just from an outside point of view... holy crap! you're getting a ton of stuff done! Your 'tonight' lists look more like a 'this week' list (without adding being sick on top of it).

And a trick that maybe-might-sorta help a little, even though it's just wording... I always call my 'To Do' list, my 'Stress Reduction List.' Even though I know it's the same silly list, for some reason, I don't feel so bad when I don't get the list done. Instead, I can look at all the things I did to reduce my stress, and anything left over are just more options I have to reduce my stress further.

I hope these weeks of craziness calm down soon and on the other side of this difficult time is some well earned peace. and sleep. and lack of coughing. ;)

What can I say - deadlines are very motivating for me...

I don't think the creative naming trick would work for me. It's not so much the "To Do" part that scares me as the deadline part. Granted, I set this deadline myself, so it's my own fault its short, but I needed it to put some pressure on myself so stuff would get done, so now I'm a little stressed, but that makes me productive... Way circular, but the stress is what keeps me going on it - If I were not completely stressed out about it, I would just melt into a little puddle of despair. :/

Cool. I meant to call you last night but, well, it didn't really go according to plan. See you then.
